The Central Loan Department is responsible for:

User Administration

handing out library cards and student IDs
assigning passwords for loan accounts and first-time internet access within the library (for trouble-shooting and assistance please contact the Reference Department)
Withdrawal and restorage of borrowing privileges
Discharge notes necessary for exmatriculation ("Entlastungsvermerk")

Interlibrary Loan

Provision of interlibrary loan orders (books and journal copies)
Order tracking and complaints
Foreign orders

Fees and Charges (Cash Desk 1)

Collection of overdue fees, postal charges and interlibrary loan charges
Notification of loss or damage of library items (in German)

Lockers

Administration of lockers (key loss etc.)
