In the library we provide more than 150 PCs for library catalogue and database search or internet access.
The library and university web pages can be used without any authentification. There is free access to several selected external web pages with academic content as well.
External web pages and services are only acessible for university members and members of other higher education instituitions. You will have to identify yourself with a library card.

At all library PCs with internet access you can use an enlargement tool. Use your keyboard to:
For switching the zoom on and off press + or - on the numeric keypad.
As the case may be, the numeric keypad has to be enabled by pressing the Num button.
The University Computing Center (HRZ) provides PCs which are located in the departmental libraries and in the Reference Department. These show the HRZ configuration and offer the complete range of applications of the Computing Center and can be used with the HRZ authentification.
Please ask the library personnel for the exact location.
For the printing of documents the web PCs and the PCs provided by the University Computing Center can be used, and even your private laptop. Please refer to the information given on Printing in the Library.
The copy machines in the library can be used for printing of course, but for scanning as well. Edited files can be stored on memory sticks or sent by e-mail. Please refer to the information given on Save & Export.
The books shelved in the foyer of the Law library, which can not be removed from the site, can be scanned with the scanner in front of the shelf. The scanned pages can directly be stored on memory sticks. Please refer to the information given on Photocopy & Scan.
