Data Collection and Data Storage
When you visit any Website, your browser always sends information on the type of browser it is, which version it is running, which operating system is being used, the referrer URL, the IP address, the file names, the access status, how much data is transferred, the date, and the time of the server request. The data is stored for a maximum of one month, analysed statistically in an pseudonymous form, and then simply deleted.
The web presence of Bielefeld University Library includes serveral personalized services.
