• Data is stored on magnetic tapes every 2-3 days
• Files are kept in 7 versions in the backup
• Deleted files are kept in 3 versions

Deployment times

The deployment time depends on the complexity of the desired backup solution and is agreed upon individually with the commissioning faculty or department.

Duty to cooperate

To use this service the installation and operation of a TSM client in the version specified by BITS on the server to be backed up is required. Also a control of the backup protocols is required.
