The Bachelor’s Study Programme

The way in which studies are structured at Bielefeld University allows first-year students flexibility. This means that during their course of studies, they can reconsider, and, if necessary, change their study path if they decide upon a different career. However, the later this change is made, the more likely it is that completion of studies will be delayed due to changing the course type. This is particularly true regarding the decision whether or not to become a teacher. Students at the start of their studies who are not yet sure whether they would like to pursue a teaching career, but who are also keen to avoid any possible delays in completing their studies should take advantage of the many student advisory services offered by Bielefeld University.
