Subscribe folder

It is possible that the subfolders of the mailbox are not displayed. In this case, you need to subscribe to the folders manually.

1.

Right-click on the function mailbox and go to Subscribe.... Go.

2.

Select the required folders here and then confirm with OK.

3.

The folders will now be displayed.

If this is not the case, you have to restart Thunderbird.

Memory shortage - disable message synchronization

By default, Thunderbird downloads all emails and saves them to the network drive or local hard drive. This makes the search much faster, but there is also a risk that the storage space will fill up.

This option can be deactivated under Tools > Account Settings... > Synchronization & Storage.

Here you have to remove the checkmark from Keep messages of this account available on this computer.

Click OK to apply the change.
