Webmail FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the webmailer

This view can be switched via Filter > Display as > Messages.

Sometimes it is necessary to forward an e-mail as an attachment. To do this, the following steps are necessary in the webmailer.

1.

Start new e-mail via New.

2.

Drag the email to be forwarded into the new email.

3.

The e-mail will then appear as an attachment in the eneun e-mail.

Add a receiving address, etc. to the e-mail and send it.

 

Emails that have also been deleted from the 'Deleted Items' folder will still be held for some time and can be recovered by themselves.

1.

Right click on the folder "Deleted items". There go to "Restore deleted items...".

A new window will open.

Here, find the email you are looking for and check the box in front of it. Then click on Restore at the top.

Note:
The restored emails will be visible again in the original folder (e.g. Inbox) afterwards.

It was checked in advance whether the permission for the e-mail address registered in the webmailer was assigned and "Access denied" or "Something didn't work" is still displayed? Please note the following tip.

Via the known way a "Open another mailbox...".

Enter the desired e-mail address from the function mailbox, but do not take the suggested entry directly, but click on Search directory.

 

Background:
If the directly displayed entry is taken, an entry from the personal address book may be taken. This then triggers the error.
