Doctorate/Ph.D. Studies

The core of doctorate/Ph.D. studies is independent scientific work. Doctoral students thus contribute decisively to current research and are employed as academic co-workers at the university temporarily for the project duration of the doctoral thesis. The doctorate/Ph.D. studies are therefore not to be regarded as a degree program but as the first step in professional life.
