As one of the two central learning platforms, the learning space is available to all teaching staff, instructors, lectures at the university for use in their courses. Basic functions such as a document repository, a forum and a facility for submitting documents are set up in the learning space. Via interfaces, Moodle courses or video folders from Panopto can also be made available to participants in a learning space and video conferences can be organized. The learning room is a proprietary development of the university based on Microsoft SharePoint.
A learning space can be created for each course. Teaching staff of a course automatically get access to a learning room. Further staff can be added by teaching staff. Participants* automatically get access as soon as the learning space is published.
Functions:
If the learning room is not used but a Moodle course is used, teaching staff, instructors, lectures can set up an automatic redirection that directs participants to the desired Moodle course when they access it.
Learning spaces can only be created for courses registered in the electronic course catalogue (eKVV).
No application required.
Teaching staff and their secretary's offices can create learning spaces for their courses themselves via the learning space portal.
